Presents the method for simulating the flow distribution and pressure of network and determining the working point of all condensate pumps, according to the friction factor of pipe and the characteristic curves of condensate pump. Develops a programme and simulates with a project example the effect on the whole network when one and a few condensate pumps stopped. The results show that when some pumps are stopped, the flow of the others increase, the change rates of stopped pumps and the pumps far away from the source are larger than others and nearly equal, and those of the pumps close to the source are smaller and gradually decrease from the far end to positions closer to the source.
